Preparation of detailed specification sheets for production in China.
Close liaison with factories regarding development of new styles and sampling.
Analyzing fits, advising manufacturers of any necessary alterations.
Ordering and checking proto & pre production samples.
Checking results of lab dips, wash reference samples, trims etc.
Preparation of graphics for garment specifications & story boards.
Maintain knowledge of current & potential fashion trends and put forward new graphic/print ideas, predicting and interpreting sports fashion trends in a commercial way.
Contribution to improve existing manufacturing methods and efficiencies.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in a similar role within the fashion industry.
Technical knowledge of garment construction, fit and pattern making.
A sound knowledge of fabric performance.
An understanding and willingness to get garments to meet specifications with a minimum of rework.
An ability to work to strict deadlines.
An Intermediate level of Microsoft / lotus notes / excel.
Solid Corel draw / illustrator / freehand experience.
Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
