In order to avoid overlaps and create synchrony for the fashion calendar, the councils have met to set agreements on the start and end dates of each fashion week. The decision, which follows ongoing discussions between the organisations, aims to benefit the trade audience travelling between the cities as well as the on-schedule designers.
The dates have been agreed unanimously by the BFC, CNMI, CFDA and FHCM to avoid overlaps: September 2024: NY (6-11), London (12-17), Milan (17-23), Paris (23-Oct 1). January 2025: Milan (17-21), Paris (21-26 & 27-30). Feb/Mar 2025: NY (13-18), London (20-24), Milan (Feb 25 – Mar 3), Paris (3-11). June 2025 (Menswear): London (12-15), Milan (20-24), Paris (24-29). July 2025 (Haute Couture): Paris (7-10). September 2025: NY (11-16), London (18-22), Milan (23-29), Paris (Sept 29 – Oct 7), BFC said on its website.
