The launch represents an important next step in Matalan’s omnichannel growth journey and builds on the success of Matalan’s own on-trend clothing brands that include Papaya, Et Vous, Be Beau, and Taylor & Wright, according to a press release. Labels unveiled by Matalan include Little Mistress, Girls on Film, Ben Sherman, Clarks, Lee Jeans, Rocket Dog, Hush Puppies, Trespass, Craghoppers, Farah, Elle Sports, Pineapple Girls, Hype, Start-Rite, and Novo – with Jack & Jones Jnr, Only Kids, and Ivory Rose landing online from October.
“We are thrilled to onboard these popular and well-established third-party brands, to offer our customers even more choice by complementing our own brand offering and launching another exciting phase of our strategic growth journey. These labels have been carefully selected to ensure Matalan remains a leading omnichannel fashion and lifestyle retail destination for families across the UK,” said Matalan’s chief operating officer James Brown.
In addition, there is an exciting launch of a brand-new range by TV personality and actress Dani Dyer, who has designed a 24-piece collection for Girls on Film. Dyer’s 1970s-inspired debut collection reflects her personal style and features dresses, tops, jumpsuits, and suits. The range offers the perfect uplift to autumn style and includes wearable and flattering day to night pieces designed for every occasion.
Customers will also be given preview access to a beautiful new collection designed exclusively for Matalan by leading womenswear fashion brand Little Mistress, added the release.
“We are very excited to be exclusively teaming up with Matalan for the launch of ‘Girls on Film by Dani Dyer’. Dani fits our brand aesthetic perfectly – she is someone who is full of personality and fun! We’ve loved working with her and look forward to collaborating together on future collections,” said Mark Ashton, CEO of Girls on Film.
