Kunal Kapur becomes managing director at Coats Digital

UK-based Coats Digital has announced Kunal Kapur as its new managing director. He was appointed on January 1, 2023, by Coats Group, a leading industrial thread manufacturer, to captain the helm at Coats Digital—a multi-faceted technology business that optimises and accelerates the digital transformation of the fashion industry.

Kapur has broad and extensive experience in the apparel and footwear industry. He has played senior global commercial, general management, marketing, key account management, and technical roles at Coats Group since he started as a management trainee at Coats’ India office in 2003. He has been responsible for executing large-scale projects to streamline business priorities across Coats’ global markets and has led commercial teams and technical service operations.

Kapur holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from the University of Delhi and an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, India.
