Description : Stunning coat with oodles of charm, made of thick, smooth and soft wool velvet in a light aubergine shade of purple and featuring clever over-stitching detail on each side of the bust and at pocket level thus integrating the back half-belt into overall cut of the garment with a very stricking effect - this is what genuine couture was and should still be about. The yummy original chunky buttons are still present: they are made of painted wood but tiny chips have discreetly started to come off the paint work. It is not a terminal issue but a perfectionist may wish to get the buttons replaced or repainted. Matching polyester lining.
