The focus on mens wear is shifting big time and designersare giving due attention to the mens wear, recent fall / winter collection2008 paid due homage to the fact. The fall winter collection will expandhorizons and revolutionalized mens wear, but to what extend only time willtell, however some fantastic pieces and designs came to the stage and someslashed in the backdrop.

We have taken a virtual touraround the world to the likes of Paris fashion week, Milan fashion week tobring out the very best in Mens wear for Fall Winter 2008. Zucchelli in hislatest collection offered delusions of framed masculinity: say for example achunky white sweater with gridiron shoulders, a monochromatic concoction ofsuit and shirt which helps to draw out the length in the cut. Blue was thecolor in rage at Louis Vuitton collection for Fall 2008, the collectionemphasis on fitting with clear cut straight lines giving a sharp look. D&Gsplashed the runway with fun factor with a backdrop of Tartan. The theme of theshow as depicted by the designers was a tribe of snowbound young men role-playingtheir way through the closets and trunks of a grand old castle. There wasleather biker pants put up with a houndstooth cardie, a moir jacket pairedwith tartan slacks, a patchwork shearling worn with corduroy combats.

Armani continued to reign with a royal look; hecalled his collection regal. He left his signature mark this year withuse of assorted fabrics in form of quilted velvets, shawl-wrapped knits andsoft reassuring coats. The collection came across as winner with high collaredshirts, velvet collared jackets, three piece suits with waistcoats which werehigh button and old fashioned. It was evident that Guccis designer had dark-eyed gypsy boys and wild Cossack stylein mind while designing the collection. There were printed tunics, withslugging low waist enhanced with chains and scarves. Coats and jackets were detailedwith fur trims.

Prada dazed the runway agents with duality theme. There wasa charcoal suit with sober lines but again the feminine twist was introducedwith wrapped jacket worn with a shirt with dual collars, one depicting theclerical image while the other one was the normal shirt collar. The over alleffect of the dual collar shirt was a male bikini. Another trend setter andiconic fashion house Versace came out with the collection with unanimous intendof impressing the female counterpart. There were fine detailing on shoulders, cape like volumes sinuous in jackets, a shearling poncho and a black leathergreatcoat. The color palette comprised of dark hues with plum, black, mulberry, dark purple watering the extravagant dish. The look that stole the show was themonochromatic evening look with black tux, black shirt, black bow tieoverridden by a huge black officer's coat.

Fashion experts suggests despite different ragesportrayed by the Fashion predominates the shimmery shirts, silvery shoes, andsuits with a tonic gleam will gear up Fall 2008's wish list.
