Fibre2fashion provides an insight into some of theinnovations offered by leading companies in the show.
TERROT:
Terrot, a manufacturer of electronically and mechanicallycontrolled circular knitting machines, is known worldwide for its quality andtop performance in the construction.
With focus on innovation, quality awareness, marketabilityand competitiveness, TERROT is going to present its model S3P172-1 atShanghaitex 2009
S3P172 - Often emulated, never matched
Terrot's mini jacquard model S3P172-1 has been designed toaddress the most stringent quality demands. This machine is among the mostsuccessful and most frequently sold Terrot models the world over. Terrot claimsS3P172 is an easy-to-operate Jacquard selection technology and isunmatched in terms of quality or functional and production reliability. Themachine model operates using 3-way technology at every feeder. The selectionmechanism moves the cylinder needles to the freely selectable knit-tuck-missposition.
KARL MAYER
The KARL MAYER Group will exhibit two warp knitting machines on the show.
First is TM 2 which is already a firm fixture of the Chinese market; introduced in 2008, it complements the TM 3 and expands the successful TM-series. As of this year, the TM 2 and TM 3 are both produced by KARL MAYER (China) Ltd.
The Seamless Smart machine DJ 4/2 with 44 working width was introduced in autumn 2008, and is perfect for producing hosiery and seamless garments. The family of the DJ models will be expanded and offers all the performance features of an innovative new development in the field of double-bar raschel machines with Jacquard.
BRÜCKNER
Considering potential for Chinese market, Brueckner a world leader in processing technology is heading for displaying numbers of its machines in Shanghaitex-2009.
POWER-FRAME
stenters - more efficiency with minimized energy consumption:
The new POWER-FRAME stenter generation is characterized by the proven and patented SPLIT-FLOW air circulation system achieving an optimum temperature distribution across the complete dryer length and width. This is particularly important for heat-setting processes and in the end decisive for the quality of the fabric.
With the MULTI-CONTROL PLUS machine control an easy reproducibility of production data is ensured since more than 500 different recipes can be memorized. The preparation times are thus short and a uniformly high fabric quality with heat-setting processes is ensured.
The POWER-FRAME stenter is with its newly developed entry system perfectly suited for the finishing of highly elastic knitted and woven fabric. A support belt in the entry area provides for an absolutely gentle and tension-free fabric transport.
With the newly designed energy saving systems BRÜCKNER achieved to make the stentering processes even more profitable. Beside measures in construction, material and process technology to reduce the energy consumption, BRÜCKNER offers also innovative solutions to use the exhaust air heat.
Different systems from the economical "back-pack" solution up to complete heat recovery units including air purification in different sizes are available. These systems can be combined optimally and can be adapted of course to the special customer requirements.
POWER-RELAX relaxation dryer with new energy saving concept - powerful and efficient
The dryer concept newly designed by BRÜCKNER allows to increase the production output by up to 25 % with an energy consumption that has been reduced simultaneously by 25 %. The more intense combination of suction and air circulation allows an absolutely homogeneous drying across the fabric width / fabric thickness and thus also an optimum fabric quality with the best achievable residual shrinkage.
The use of the patented SPLIT-FLOW air circulation system guarantees the highest temperature accuracy, which allows finishing also particularly delicate fabric with the high quality standard BRÜCKNER is known for. Satisfied customers all over the globe confirm the success of our development. Our customers confirm that the expectations regarding the production values and the dimension of saved energy have been exceeded by far by the BRÜCKNER lines.
OERLIKON
Oerlikon Barmag: FDY for those focused on quality
For Oerlikon Barmag, this years Shanghaitex is taking place under the motto of FDY yarn production. The Autoconer 5 with the innovative PreciFX is an unambiguous evidence for the leadership in innovation of Oerlikon Schlafhorst in the field of automatic package winding. In the field of compact yarns as well as of short staple spinning of cotton and long staple spinning of wool, the technological details and advantages of the Zinser CompACT system stand out. Last but not least, Oerlikon Schlafhorst offers the entire rotor spinning machine family Autocoro and BD line - with new performance features for more quality and productivity.
ANDRITZ KÜSTERS
Andritz Küsters, will present their complete product range of calenders and rolls for the textile industry as well as machinery for the nonwoven industry at Shanghaitex 2009 within the German Pavilion.
With a maximum line force of 400 N/mm the teXcal s-roll with deflection control raises the bar to set new standards, especially in technical textiles which require defined low air permeability as e.g. parachute silk. Other deflection controlled calender systems with synthetic coatings are limited to a line force of 300 N/mm. This means that the fabric needs multiple calendering, whereas the teXcal s-roll with especially adjusted surface technology can achieve best compaction results in just one passage.
The original S-Roll technology from Andritz Küsters, Krefeld, shows excellent performance in a great variety of textile processes. Andritz Küsters and AKM offer worldwide comprehensive and competent service for all S-Roll systems in the textile industry, including repair, overhauling, original spare parts for roll and control system as well as original spare rolls.
In addition, Andritz Küsters present their entire range of services for the nonwoven industry. This includes leading calender technology as well as the latest developments in wet finishing of nonwovens and complete lines for wetlaid nonwovens.
Apart from these few manufactures, numbers of exhibitors are participating in the show Visitors and exhibitors from all across the globe are eagerly awaiting for this event in order to explore.
