The fourth edition of Texcellence 09, a conferencefocused on textile and allied sector was hosted in Ahmedabad between November13th -14th at the premises of the Ahmedabad ManagementAssociation, which was attended by a host of dignitaries from the government aswell as the private sector.
Dr. S.S. Bhattacharya and Mr. Aadhar Mandot from The Maharaja SayajiraoUniversity of Baroda shared his views on Skill Development. Thepresentation started with the Introduction of Skill Development mentioning: Whenwe choose to move, the action is controlled by the conscious brain using acollection of learned movements Further he said that skill development is relatedto any work, learning or training activity that result in enhanced skills, knowledgeand aptitude to perform a job.
