Saranya is working as assistant professor in Bannari Amman Institute of Technology in the department of Fashion Technology with one year of teaching experience. She has completed her B.Tech from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology. She has done her M.Tech from Kumaraguru College of Technology with the specialisation in nonwovens.
