Abrar Ahmed Apu

Mr. Md. Abrar Ahmed Apu has completed his BSc (4-year program) in Textile Technology from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTex), Bangladesh and MSc (2-year program) in Textile-Clothing Management and Trade from HS Niederrrhein, Germany. He worked in home textile manufacturing unit as well as clothing assembling unit in Bangladesh for more than two years.

Since October’08, Mr. Abrar A Apu holds role of ‘Assistant Professor’ in the Department of Textile Engineering, Daffodil International University (DIU), Bangladesh. His area of teaching includes-Technical Textiles, Textile-Clothing Production Management, Global Textile Trade and Investment, and Textile Production Ecology. He has been representing world’s most renowned Swiss certifying body “Institute for Market Ecology (IMO)” in Bangladesh. He is expert at GOTS, OE, FairTrade, and Social Responsibility)
