Dr. Samrat Mukhopadhyay

Dr. Samrat Mukhopadhyay acquired his Bachelors degree from the University of Kolkata, and his Masters and PhD from IIT Delhi. He started his career as a Management Trainee in Logistics Division, at Arvind Mills, and later joined Kumaraguru College as a faculty. In the span of time, he joined the Textile Department in Anuradha Engineering College, subsequently, heading the Department. He was with the Fibrous Materials Group, University of Minho, Portugal, as a Research Scientist for a year working on natural fibers and their composites.

Currently he is working as a faculty in IIT Delhi. He has to his credit, 15 International Research Publications, 3 patents and 14 conference presentations to his credit and has been associated with several projects.
