Kumari Nayantara Singh is assistant professor of Fashion Design Department, NIFT, Srinagar. She graduated from the Fashion Design Department of NIFT Gandhinagar and did her Masters in Psychology. She started her career as an executive designer at The Shirt Company (Barbie brand), Mumbai. Then she worked with Maam Arts, an export house in Jaipur, as an executive designer. Along with this, she has worked with IDT, Surat as a senior fashion faculty and as academic head at Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli, Gujarat.
