Nilanjana Bairagi

Dr. Nilanjana Bairagi is an Associate Professor at NIFT, Bengaluru. She holds M.Tech and PhD degree in Textile Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi). She has more than 17 years of academic and research experience. Her areas of research specialization are Design Research, Functional Apparel, Product innovation for the Indian Fashion Industry, Designing for Special Needs and Craft Research. She has a number of national and international research publications to her credit and has co-authored two chapters in the Functional Textiles and Clothing Book published by Springer Publications (2019).
