Paolo Ferrarini has graduated in Phenomenology of Styles at Bologna University. Currently he is a senior researcher in Future Concept Lab where he principally deals with emerging aesthetics and digital behaviours. He conducts research projects in areas ranging from fashion to technology, from communication to retail. Apart from this, Paolo regularly teaches at IstitutoMarangoni and the University of Bologna (Rimini Campus) on themes related to the evolution of styles and methodology of research.
He’s been guest teacher at Università di Parma (Parma, Italy), Domus Academy (Milan, Italy), IED (Milan, Italy), Creative Academy (Milan, Italy), Polimoda (Florence, Italy), Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design (London, UK), ECAL (Lausanne, Switzerland), STA (Lugano, Switzerland), Bilgi University (Istanbul, Turkey), Universidad Siglo 21 (Cordoba, Argentina).He has as a speaker taken part in national and international conferences dealing with issues related to the transformation of consumption, sustainability, styles and technologies. He’s co-author of many books like "Artbeat 2" (2000), "Italian Ways (2003), "Le Aziende In-Visibili" (2008), "Real Footwear Trends" (2008).
