Ms. Mehta has completed her Master's degree in Home Science specialising in Clothing & Textiles from Maharaja Saiyaji Rao University of Baroda, Vadodra. Presently she is working as Assistant Professor in International College for Girls, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Her areas of interest includes commencing research and development programmes and projects in the field of her specialisation. She has also conducted an intervention programme on prevention of occupational hazards in the printing sector of Jetpur.
