Our digital printing technologies do away with pre-treatment
Leading the digital textile printing industry, Israel-based Kornit Digital's innovative printing technology enables businesses to succeed in web-to-print, on-demand and mass customisation concepts. Founded in 2002, the company supplies digital textile printing machines to customers in more than 100 countries. Corporate marketing director Carmen Makover speaks about the company's USP and launch of new products at ITMA 2019.
Please tell us about your company in brief.
Kornit Digital was set up in 2002 and we serve two primary markets: the direct-to-garment market and the direct-to-fabrics market. Our speciality lies in the printing process. In all kinds of digital printing, pre-treatment process is needed. But in our technologies, you do not need pre-treatment. This makes the whole process quite efficient.
Did you launch any new technologies or show existing technologies at ITMA 2019? Please share features and benefits of these technologies.
At ITMA, we promoted three new products released recently. One is Presto, the new generation of textile printers. For garment printing, we showcased two technologies. The first is Atlas, which prints on cotton, and the second is Avalanche Poly Pro for printing on polyester fabrics. Kornit Presto eliminates the need for pre- and post-treatment of fabric and allows for high-quality printing on an extraordinarily broad variety of fabric types and applications. It does not consume water in the printing process, making it the most environment-friendly solution available for direct-to-fabric textile printing today.
Kornit Presto also comes with NeoPigment Robusto, the best pigment-based ink available in the industry. Robusto provides exceptional colour fastness across a wide range of fabrics and applications. Atlas offers the most efficient way to print large volumes or industrial quantities of garments with the best customer ownership proposition. Avalanche Poly Pro is the only one in the market to print on dark or coloured polyester garment with no dye migration.
To how many countries do you export?
