What is the kind of response you received at India ITME 2016? What was your main focus at the show? What are your expectations from the next edition of ITME in 2020?
The response at ITME was good. This time around most of the senior technicians and decision makers had visited the exhibition. However, in comparison to the last exhibition held in 2012, the crowd was little less. Due to demonetisation, lot of junior staff and technicians from textile mills across India could not come and their absence was felt visibly.
However, Truetzschler being technologically strong, our main focus was to show innovation in our area. India ITME also provides a platform to interact with our stakeholders. New products will simultaneously be launched in the Indian market in due course and this will indeed help us keep our business sustaining over a period of time.
India ITME has already reached an international level, so companies like us invest a lot to showcase modern and latest technology. We therefore expect that senior management of the textile fraternity should take a note of it and send most of their technicians and staff to the exhibition. This helps them get updated with the latest development in the field.
