Flainox was founded in the year 1968 and since then manufacturing dyeing and finishing machinery. Located in Quaregna (Biella) – Italy – Flainox has based its development on the principle of synergic collaboration with qualified customers.
Since 2009 we have adopted a sustainable development strategy for meeting the needs of present and future generation requirements.
Sustainable development requires some attitude shifts in thinking, consumption, design review, production patterns and business approach.
The Carbon Footprint of our garments dyeing machine “NRP/UNIVERSAL” was investigated over its complete life span, from the extraction of raw material and manufacturing, to the use of the product by final consumers and end-of-life processes. The impact analysis was limited to emissions that have an effect on climate change (carbon dioxide, methane, etc.).
The study conclusion put a strong focus on hot spots for eco-design review and eco-efficiency improvements leading to the new concept of the dyeing machine “NRP/NRG” , suitable for garments, socks, seamless and hosiery.
The certification 2010 proved -23% CO2 emission – “green” level on Kyoto protocol. Flainox is now targeting with it’s “NRP/NRG” the “blue” level that is provided for carbon emissions reduction over 40%.

The range of manufacturing includes side-paddle for knitted wool and silk garments, autoclaves for yarn dyeing, static cabinets for hanks and hosiery as well as Multifinish for special air-finishing in rope and MultiPlus for roll-to-roll rope treatment of any fabric.
