Over one month, consumer prices should rise by 0.1 per cent in October 2023, after -0.5 per cent in September. The prices of manufactured products should increase over a month, but less than in the previous month; those of energy should fall back, the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) said in a press release.
Year on year, the harmonised index of consumer prices should rise by 4.5 per cent in October 2023, after 5.7 per cent in September. Over one month, it should increase by 0.2 per cent, after -0.6 per cent in the previous month.
