ARKET launches flagship stores in Milan and Barcelona

Nordic design brand ARKET opened flagship stores in Milan and Barcelona, marking their first physical locations in Italy and Spain.
The Milan store, located in the historic Medelan Building, spans 1,000 sq. m. and opened on July 2.
The Barcelona store, on Passeig de Gracia, covers 650 sq. m. and opened on July 5, featuring a pop-up bookshop with Apartamento.

Nordic design and lifestyle brand ARKET opened flagship stores in Barcelona and Milan, which marks the brand’s first physical destinations in Spain and Italy.

Located in the Medelan Building on Piazza Cordusio, the new store (004042-940) opened in Milan on 2 July. With a total area of 1,000 square metres, the store spans the ground and second floors of the historic Medelan Building, inaugurated in 1902, which until now has served as the headquarters of Credito Italiano bank. The space combines ARKET’s signature monochrome palette of soft greys and natural materials – carrying the brand’s full assortment of ready-to-wear and accessories for women and men, childrenswear, body care, and interior design.

Located on the Passeig de Gracia, the new Barcelona store (004037–940) opened on 5 July. With a total area of 650 square metres, the store carries the full range of the brand’s ready-to-wear and accessories for women and men, childrenswear, body care, and interior design. Spanning the ground and first floors of a former residential building, built in 1900, the new store combines ARKET’s signature monochrome palette of soft greys with natural materials such as solid oak interiors, custom-made terrazzo flooring, and fresh green plants.

This is one of our most anticipated openings so far, and we couldn’t be happier to finally have opened our first location in Barcelona. We look forward to meeting our Spanish customers in person and inviting them to experience the full ARKET offering – a new modern-day market curated for a more beautiful everyday life.

The store opening also features a pop-up bookshop with friends from the Barcelona-based publishing house Apartamento – offering a selection of literature on food, art, and everyday aesthetics curated by the Apartamento team.
