Joe Freshgoods marks the return of the 1000, an archival running style originally released in 1999, with a comprehensive homage to all things Y2K. The 1000’s innovative design is taken to another level, with design cues taken from the early 2000s combination of luxury, futurism, and streetwear that completely redefined the fashion landscape. A performance-inspired open knit mesh upper in black is paired with bronze iridescent leather overlays, for a look that is equal parts sleek and rugged. Embroidered ‘1000’ and ‘JFG’ branding provides an elevated sense of detail, while flame graphics at the tongue and a web 1.0-inspired, lowercase ‘jfg’ badge at the heel provide subtle, unmistakably Y2K finishing touches."The sneakers are a testament to the craftsmanship and innovative spirit of the late '90s, blending performance with street style in a way ahead of its time. The design cues are carefully curated to evoke nostalgia while embracing the future, a bridge between two millennia,” says Joe Robinson, Founder and Creative Director of Joe Freshgoods.
Joe Freshgoods reintroduces the 1000 sneaker, a 1999 classic, with a tribute to Y2K aesthetics, blending early 2000s luxury, futurism, and streetwear.
The design features a performance-inspired mesh upper, bronze iridescent leather overlays, and distinctive Y2K elements like flame graphics and a 'jfg' badge.
It represents a fusion of late '90s craftsmanship.
