Talks for better US-India trade deals that meet the requirements of both the nations are at the initial stages, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said recently. Though tariffs and non-tariff barriers have been long-standing concerns, both sides are working to address market access challenge issues, news wires quoted her as saying.
The United States at present has free trade agreements with 20 countries, including Australia, Canada, Singapore, South Korea, Peru, Panama, Bahrain and Jordan. (DS)
