A seven-year veteran of The North Face, Arne Arens who has deep marketing, product development and direct-to-consumer experience has become the new global brand president. Arens will be responsible for leading the global brand vision and strategy to continue to build brand equity and create a consistent, consumer-centric experience for consumers.
Arens joined The North Face in 2010. In March 2017, he was appointed the brand’s vice president and general manager for the Americas. In that role, he managed the brand’s Americas business and strategic initiatives for sales, merchandising and direct-to-consumer.A seven-year veteran of The North Face, Arne Arens who has deep marketing, product development and direct-to-consumer experience has become the new global brand president. Before joining VF, Arens spent eight years in Europe in marketing, sales and category roles for Nike. Prior to joining Nike, he served in consulting roles across a range of industries and geographies.
Arens will continue to report to Scott Baxter, vice president, VF and group president, Outdoor & Action Sports Americas.
