The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) recently approved four new investment projects with a total capital of $8.4 million. Located in special economic zones in the Preah Sihanouk province and Phnom Penh, the four projects will cover the production of wire and cables, shoes, bags, packaging material and stoves, a CDC press release said.
The new projects would generate around 540 jobs, a Cambodian English-language daily reported.
