Man-made apparel followed, valued at $423.614 million and constituting 35.30 per cent of the overall apparel exports. Other types of material accounted for 13.14 per cent, with a value of $157.646 million, according to trade data from Fibre2Fashion's market insight tool TexPro.
Trousers and shorts accounted for 32.11 per cent of Cambodia's total apparel exports to the United States during January to May 2023. The shipments of trousers and shorts were valued at $385.3 million.
In the top five products, jerseys were valued at $198.491 million (16.54 per cent), shirts at $105.476 million (8.79 per cent), baby wear at $71.016 million (5.92 per cent), and T-shirts at $66.048 million (5.50 per cent). These five products contributed to more than 75 per cent of the total exports during the specified period. Among the next five leading products were nightwear, dresses, innerwear, coats, and skirts, according to TexPro.
