Dollar’s profit before tax stood at ₹95.8 crore for 2017-18 as against ₹66.75 crore during the previous fiscal, a rise of approximately 43 per cent, the company said in a press release.
The Kolkata-based company has Missy, Bigboss, Champion, Ultra Thermals under the brand Dollar and premium brands Force NXT and Force Go Wear. It has promoted Shashi Agarwal to the role of senior vice president–corporate strategy. Lalit Chand Sharma has taken over as the new chief financial officer of the company.
“We are aggressively looking for inorganic growth through M&A. To boost the growth further, the company is eyeing for substantial number of EBOs, shop-in-shops and kiosks across major cities of India. The company migrated into NSE on April 21, 2017 and has got in-principle approval for listing on BSE,” said Vinod Kumar Gupta, managing director, Dollar Industries.
The company is currently focusing on expansion of Force NXT and Dollar Missy. (RKS)
