Singapore-based Flipkart Marketplace has infused ₹3,463 crore into the Indian entity Flipkart Internet, according to regulatory filings sourced by a data intelligence platform. The money was infused in two instalments. In the first tranche, ₹456 crore was put in lieu of 2.2 lakh shares and in the second, ₹3,007 crore for 14.5 lakh shares in the Indian entity.
Flipkart Internet had received two rounds of funds from the Singapore-based firm in fiscal 2017-18 and two more rounds this year, according to a report in an Indian business daily. (DS)
