Internationally-renowned performance and lifestyle apparel brand Puma, through its team wear licensee TLA, has entered a new agreement with Bowls Australia (BA) as its official apparel partner until 2025. The exciting new partnership will see the provider supply state-of-the-art apparel for personnel at all levels of bowls in Australia, including BA’s high-performance squads, national events competitors such as the Bowls Premier League and corporate staff.
Puma/TLA will be added as an official National Merchandise Programme licensee, with clubs and bowlers able to purchase performance teamwear products to be worn on the greens nationwide, Puma said in a press release.
In collaboration with BA, Puma intends to develop innovative and fashionable bowls apparel utilising the brand’s knowledge within the sports and lifestyle market. Puma’s licensee TLA Merchandise has a long-term partnership with the sports brand as the exclusive licensee to supply Puma team wear products to community clubs and organisations across Australia.
Bowls Australia CEO Matthew Kennedy said the new agreement is a coup for bowlers across the country, both at grassroots and high performance levels.
“Puma is a globally recognised and highly regarded apparel brand, which will enhance the calibre of merchandise worn across all levels of the sport of bowls. It will be fantastic for bowlers from all over the country to have access to Puma’s range of high-quality merchandise, while also seeing our Right at Home Australian Jackaroos don the green and gold in some of the best sportswear in the business,” said Kennedy.
TLA Merchandise CEO Scott Davidson said he is looking forward to a promising partnership. “I am delighted with the partnership and look forward to working with BA to enhance the Bowls market with an international sports brand that will provide apparel and footwear that not just performs but looks and feels great.”
