The latest collection of Sri Lanka’s Hela Clothing is revolves mostly around underwear and sleepwear, according to Buddhi Paranamana, the company’s general manager for innovation and strategy. Most underwear are women's products centre around higher quality fabric finishes and the men's underwear focus on functional fabrics and added support for better fit.The company’s casualwear collection continues to provide affordable products in the kids' range with a focus on back-to-school clothing and a new range has been introduced for women's bottoms using space dye technology in the fabrication, Paranamana told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
Hela Clothing is a $200-million company dealing with manufacture and design of apparel. It has 12 factories in four countries — one each in Kenya, Ethiopia and Mexico and the remaining in Sri Lanka.
