Hong Kong-based Epic Group, a leader in apparel manufacturing and sourcing, has announced a significant shift in its leadership team to reinforce its ability to meet the demands of its expanding global presence while adhering to its core values. The new appointments include Sunil Daryanani and Dinesh G Virwani, who have taken up roles as executive vice chairmen. 

Additionally, Suraj Kalra has joined the team as chief executive officer (CEO). With a proven track record of leading large-scale operations and driving innovation, Kalra is expected to propel Epic’s strategic goals forward and expand its market presence. 

The restructured executive committee comprises Ranjan Mahtani, who serves as founder and chairman, alongside executive vice chairmen Daryanani and Virwani. 

The committee’s chief executives include Justin Wong overseeing finance, Rajeev Singh leading human resources, Peeyush Kumar handling group procurement, Praveen Mishra managing manufacturing and operational excellence, Anurag Asthana focusing on business operations, process improvement, and digitalisation, and Suraj Kalra, the newly appointed CEO. Helen Morris will continue to provide essential support to the team as group general counsel. 

“As we embark on the next phase of this journey, it is essential that we strengthen our organisational capabilities and leadership to navigate the increasing complexity and scale of our operations. We remain focused on serving our customers better, empowering our people, and creating sustainable value for all our stakeholders,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.
