With visitors from over 20 countries, the 31st World Fashion Convention and the 8th Istanbul Fashion Conference will run from October 13 to 15, 2015.

“Along with event partner, Turkish Clothing Manufacturers Association (TGSD), we are preparing for an excellent event,” IAF stated.
IAF had earlier announced that Christoph Auhagen, CBO of Hugo Boss will be a keynote speaker and now, the likes of Gordon Richardson, creative director of Topman have been added to the speaker line-up.
Among others, Jan Hilger, COO of Ahlers , Leyla Ertur, country manager production for Europe at H&M and Murat Akkun, CSR country manager of Inditex too will be addressing the delegates.
October 15 also offers a matchmaking program connecting delegates to the Turkish garment industry and specialised workshops.
During the IAF General Assembly, IAF is also organising a unique discussion session on the future of the industry.
This session will be lead by World Bank's lead specialist Emiliano Duch, who was also a keynote speaker at last year's Convention held in Medellín, Colombia.
According to IAF, executives and board members from major associations from five continents will be in the panel.
World Bank is collaborating with the IAF on forming a clearer picture of what are the most successful strategies and policies to create a stronger fashion industry globally. (AR)
