At booth 32 during the Bangladesh Denim Expo, to be held from May 2-3, 2019 in Dhaka, Jeanologia will present its new collection 100 per cent “Made in Bangladesh”, demonstrating the enormous potential of the digital model to transform the industry from design to production. The Spanish company’s technology equips designers with tools which make it possible to design in a more intuitive, easier, faster and dynamic way. A technological, efficient and sustainable alternative to traditional production processes is presented.
“To continue advancing, the Bangladeshi textile industry needs to consolidate its entrance into the technological revolution and leave behind the transition period where traditional and technological methods coexist,” says Asia Division director, Jordi Juani. “That’s why we are going to continue working together to ensure that suitability and technology are part of its DNA”.
Jeanologia contributes to an annual saving of around 1,200,000 cubic meters of water in Bangladesh, the equivalent of the water contained in Dhaka’s Gulshan lake.
At the event, Juani will give a talk on “Circularity in Jeans Finishing, Utopia or Reality”, where he will explain how to apply circularity within jean finishing. The seminar is scheduled for 2.30 p.m. on May 3.
Jeanologia has been present in Bangladesh for over 15 years, supporting the country’s industry, providing advisory services and leading-edge technology to improve efficiency and finishes. To achieve this, it has worked shoulder-to-shoulder with the main jean producers, having as guide principle respect for workers and the environment. (RKS)
