Low attendance and participation in training programmes is a major challenge, he lamented.Kesse told a news agency in Kumasi that active participation in training programmes would help solve most of the operations-related issues confronting the association members.
Lack of skilled craftsmen had been a major hindrance in the sector, she said. The challenge was more persistent with bigger companies that engaged workers in hundreds but few of them were perfect in handling and repair of machines, which delays output.
