M&S’ SS18 collection has a fresh burst of colours, and airy silhouettes, all with the hallmarks of quality and style they are incredibly proud of.
“Marks & Spencer is proud to be associated with the Juniors Fashion Week in India. It is a great platform for us to showcase our quality, innovative kidswear collections. As well as being fun and stylish, we pay extra attention to comfort, safety, and convenience to ensure we offer clothing that parents are happy to buy, and kids love to wear,” says Pankaj Kapoor, head of Marketing at Reliance India.
Girls’ wear sees romantic bohemian influences with seasonal trend details such as ruffles, smocking, floral prints in a palette of cornflower and pale jade shades, together with palest Melba and bright pink highlights. Botanical influences are key to the season. While the boys’ wear is inspired by the still strong athleisure trend popular among young adults—vibrant clean colours, technical fabrics, underpinned by a sports aesthetic.
One element which binds the entire M&S’ SS 18 collection is ‘denim’. A key fabric for the season for both boys and girls, denim plays out in all its glory, not only in the form of bottoms but also dungarees, slip dresses, denim pinnys and topwear. There is a “Holiday Shop” unique to M&S and will have fun fashion looks to create while on vacation—from frilly swimwear and breezy dresses for girls to nautical-inspired graphic tees and boardshorts for boys.
