The Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association (North Zone) in a recent meeting in Lahore recently elected Adil Butt, Kashif Zia and Sarwat Kapoor as chairman, senior vice chairman and vice chairman respectively for 2018-19. Javaid Bilwani was elected as central chairman. The country’s knitwear sector earned $2.7 billion from exports last year.
Other newly-elected executive committee members include Sajid Hussain Bhatti, Afzal Awan, Qamar Aftab, Kashif Zia, Shaheen Tabssum and Muhammad Sarwat Kapoor, according to a PHMA press release.
