New York-headquartered Sher Plastics plans to expand its button sourcing locations to the Far East, the Indian subcontinent and Central America, according to Vice president Elizabeth Mazzeo. The firm is also opening a sourcing and distribution centre in the United Arab Emirates and hopes to grow over the next three years at a rate of 12-15 per cent, she said.
From 2016 to 2017, the company grew its top line sales by 20 per cent because of the growth in metal buttons and setting up of a label division, she told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
