American company Delta Apparel, a leading provider of core activewear and lifestyle apparel, expects net sales of approximately $106 million in the first quarter (Q1) of financial year 2023 (FY23), ended December 31, 2022. The company expects 17 per cent year-on-year sales growth in the Salt Life Group segment, including double-digit growth across its direct-to-consumer retail and e-commerce channels as well as continued growth in its wholesale customer base.The Delta Group segment was led by 20 per cent growth at DTG2Go over the prior year’s first quarter. Although the company did experience an anticipated sales decline in its Delta Direct channel due to market conditions, its global brands and retail direct channels both achieved double-digit sales growth for the quarter, the company said in a press release.
