18% of US retailer Nordstrom-made products are now sustainable

Nordstrom has announced that 18 per cent of its products are now created with more sustainable materials. The company also highlighted several other achievements, such as the elimination of 853 tonnes of plastic waste, collection of over 30 tonnes of beauty packaging through its Beautycycle programme, and the prevention of more than 360 tonnes of clothing from reaching landfills.

Nordstrom reduced its electricity usage by approximately 15 per cent in 2022, compared to 2021, the company said in 2022 Impact Report.
