  • Azelis has entered a new distribution agreement with allnex in Indonesia, expanding their partnership in the CASE segment.
  • This collaboration enhances Azelis' offerings with allnex's high-performance additives, improving paint formulations.
  • The partnership builds on their existing relationship and aims to deliver innovative solutions to customers in Indonesia.

Azelis, a leading innovation service provider in the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, is pleased to announce a new distribution agreement in Indonesia with allnex, a global leader in industrial coating resins and additives. Effective immediately, Azelis will distribute allnex’s range of additives for the coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) segment.

Building on a longstanding commercial relationship between allnex and Azelis in other regions, the partnership in Indonesia will broaden Azelis’ presence in the CASE segment and enhance its customer solutions. allnex’s commitment to sustainability aligns with Azelis’ strategy of providing innovative and sustainable solutions. Their range of high-performance, environmentally friendly additives, including low volatile organic compounds (VOC) wetting and dispersing agents, and hazardous air pollutant substance-free (HAPS-free) flow modifiers caters to diverse industry applications to optimize paint formulations, giving customers a competitive edge.

This mandate complements Azelis’ lateral value chain in the CASE segment in Indonesia, enabling Azelis to serve customers with a more comprehensive range of solutions. The extensive product line boosts the performance of industrial and decorative paint formulations by adjusting rheological properties, improving flow and leveling, reducing foam, and enhancing pigment dispersibility and adhesion. These improvements contribute to better overall appearance, paint quality, and end-user experience.

Rainer Blaha, business vice president Additives at allnex, says:

“allnex is delighted to be working with Azelis to expand our reach in Indonesia. Azelis’ customer intimacy and technical expertise makes it a partner of choice, and together, we look forward to better serving our customers and supporting them with effective solutions to meet today’s evolving needs.”

Felix Yap, Asia Pacific CASE Market Segment director at Azelis, adds:

“We are excited to expand our collaboration with allnex for CASE in Indonesia, building on our achievements in Thailand. This partnership enhances our additives portfolio, enabling us to better meet industry needs. We appreciate allnex’s confidence in our expertise and look forward to creating innovative solutions to benefit our customers.”
