India's Donear Group, which acquired OCM Woolen Mills and GBTL Ltd in 2017, is expecting a 25-30 per cent growth in its domestic business compared to last year, according to managing director Vikram Mahaldar. Weak competition in their product niche is helping the growth of the group, which is planning some mini expansions, he told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.

The group plans to expand combers and spinning systems for better utilisation of its capacities. It also plans to upgrade its facilities for producing better quality yarn and install high-speed machines for weaving.
It is looking more at consolidation than raising the capacity, he added. (DS)
