"The Fibre2Fashion's virtual expo is where business representatives can network and connect with their prospects without any hassles of travel or accommodation. We are getting 'good' to 'overwhelming' response, and within a few days of the announcement of the expo, several companies have confirmed their participation. We are expecting participation from many more businesses by the time the fair begins on August 1," said Jose Daniel, executive director of Fibre2Fashion.
"24*7 online exposure and visibility through the unique virtual expo would provide textile-apparel businesses with an opportunity to connect online with fellow business associates, partners and customers, thereby getting their business back on track and regain visibility amongst the targeted audience," Daniel added.
Manufacturers with due quality certification are allowed to participate in the virtual expo, where exhibitors can choose and select from the available booth designs. They would get detailed analytics of the visitors, time spent on each booth, cards exchange, chats, etc, the organisers said.
The trade expo would be extensively promoted through different mediums – web, social, e-mailers and more.
