“The group firmly grasped the ‘four core competencies’ of upgrading brand, upgrading retail, innovating products and adhering to high product quality and quick response, we actively differentiated and established the “two security systems” in relation to an organisation, mechanism, culture and talent construction system, and also a digital information system, and derived business growth ahead of the industry,” Dekang added.

The group’s gross profit for FY21 surged 18.1 per cent to RMB 7.9 billion (RMB 6.7 billion), while operating profit grew 39.2 per cent to RMB 2.2 billion (RMB 1.6 billion). Bosideng’s online sales during the year improved 52.8 per cent to RMB 3.5 billion.

Revenue of the overall branded down apparel business increased 14.5 per cent to RMB10.8 billion, specifically Bosideng brand rose 18.9 per cent during FY21. However, ladieswear business dipped 3.7 per cent to RMB 946.6 million compared to previous year.
