Japanese apparel manufacturer Sanyo Shokai Ltd has reported a 11.2 per cent net sales growth to 15.9 billion yen (approximately $1.1 billion) in the first quarter (Q1) of fiscal 2024 (FY24) ended on May 31, 2023, over the sales of 14.35 billion yen in the corresponding period of prior fiscal. The company’s operating profit grew by 106 per cent to 1.035 billion yen, compared to 0.5 billion yen in Q1 FY23.The company’s ordinary profit amounted to 1.025 billion yen in Q1 FY24, compared to 0.59 billion yen in the first quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in its consolidated financial results for the three months ended May 31, 2023.
