Kitex Garments' net profit rises 13.78% in 1 year

Earnings per share (EPS) reported for FY 2015-16 was Rs 23.60 as compared to Rs 20.74 in the previous fiscal.

Net sales stood at Rs 545.81 crore during this period as compared to Rs 511.09 crore previously, a rise of 6.79 per cent.

Segment wise, the garments division reported sales worth Rs 476.07 crore in the year ended 31 March, 2016. The fabrics division reported sales worth Rs 203.92 crore in this period.

Comparatively, the garments division reported sales worth Rs 446.01 crore in the previous fiscal, while the fabrics division reported sales worth Rs 210.07 crore.

Additionally, the board of directors also recommended for a dividend of Rs 0.75 per share of face value Rs 1. (MCJ)
