Gucci recently introduced a new augmented reality app that lets people preview how a pair of the fashion brand’s signature Ace sneakers would look on their feet. The feature is only available on iOS operating system now, and while it works with shoes on, using it with only wearing socks offers a better idea of what the scale of the sneakers would be.

Developed by Belarus-based company Wannaby, the app allows you to click on the ‘Ace Sneakers’ button. Then the phone can be pointed at one’s feet and one can move around, look at different angles, and switch between different Ace styles, according to European fashion media reports.

Once the user stumbles upon his favorite, he can take and save a photo, plus click through directly to the Gucci site, where his chosen kicks will be ready for purchase. (DS)
