The Marketplace Première Vision was voted best Marketplace project of the year 2019 at the 13th edition of E-commerce Trophies held at Westin Paris Vendôme Hotel. Organised by E-Commerce magazine, the awards recognise each year the most outstanding and innovative initiatives in the sector, divided into 9 categories, and e-commerce personality of the year.

Première Vision won the Gold Trophy in the Marketplace category for the creation of its B2B e-commerce platform in September 2018, a true complementary service to its material and services shows for the upstream of the fashion sector.

"This is a great endorsement from the professionals in the sector and the associations representing French e-merchants. This is a very positive encouragement for the Première Vision Marketplace, developed with our partners Mirakl and Data Solutions, and a very positive sign for this strategic development, which strengthens and accelerates the digitalisation of an entire sector," said Gaël Séguillon, director of the Marketplace Première Vision.

Marketplace Première Vision is an online catalogue and a professional-community space, designed to prolong and complement the business relationships initiated at the 12 events organised yearly by Première Vision. It lets visitors sample or order products from various exhibitors and pay for them in one easy transaction.

The Marketplace is both a B2B e-commerce site (with a select catalogue of products exclusively from the collections of its exhibitors, and available throughout the year) and an editorial product, providing access to Première Vision's expert fashion information.

One year after its launch in September 2018, the Marketplace Première Vision has had positive results: 65,000 unique visitors, 800,000 page views, about 10,000 products presented online, and leading brands in the sector that source on the platform.

After the integration of the fabric collections in 2018, and leathers and accessories in 2019, yarns and fibres will be introduced in February 2020. New functionalities of stock service for permanent products & outlets will also be implemented next year following strong demand from buyers.
