The number of active buyers on the Polish shopping platform Allegro exceeded 13.2 million in the first quarter of this month, about 13.4 per cent more than a year ago, according to the Kacper Rozenbaum, head of international sales of the company. The average annual spends per buyer also rose to almost PLN 2,880 ($745) in Q1, an increase of 38.9 per cent YoY.Allegro is the most popular shopping platform in Poland and one of the largest e-commerce websites in Europe. It aims to offer the best shopping experience to customers and great business opportunities to merchants, Rozenbaum told Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
