At the centre of this creative universe is Slimy, an amorphous red blob that explores the universal experience of being human and life through the lens of spirituality and philosophy, a joint press release by Superga and Slimy Oddity said.

The dynamic phrase, ‘Open Your Mind’, decorates the side of the Superga 2750, accompanied by an illustration of Slimy in the hind quarter. The upper and tonal eyelets boast a neutral beige hue, representing a blank canvas in every sense. The pair is topped off with complementary tan detailing on the bumper and sits atop Superga’s signature natural vulcanised rubber sole.

The utilitarian Superga Stripe 2630 features a chunky silhouette with canvas uppers adorned with characters from Slimy Oddity’s world. Positive affirmations are further elevated with a splash of colour and multi-coloured eyelets. The minimal black uppers of the Superga Stripe 2630 are accented with a single motif of Slimy blowing heart-shaped bubbles and a striking liner on the heel that reads ‘Love Can Save The World’. This classic Superga style is enhanced with contrasted binding, and an exaggerated bumper.

The collection includes two junior pairs, and both of them take on the form of Superga 2350 Junior, a minimal slip-on silhouette. The white canvas of this sneaker is decorated with classic Slimy Oddity motifs and affirmations. Boasting a serene sky blue upper and tonal Superga side tab, this junior slip-on sneaker features two separate motifs of Slimy posing with a heart-shaped friend amongst the clouds.
