Founded in 1829, Tricker’s is the longest established shoemaker in England, with every pair of boots and shoes produced from start to finish at its factory in Northampton. Designed by Burberry in partnership with Tricker’s, the collection builds on this heritage of craft and expertise, fine-tuning the brand’s signature shapes to match the creative vision of the Burberry Autumn/Winter 2023 collection, the first by chief creative officer Daniel Lee.
Inspired by Tricker’s original country footwear, the collection for Burberry consists of brogues, Chelsea boots and Derby shoes in a variety of colours and fabrications, from black, vine and aubergine calf leather to warm camel suede. In keeping with the values of Tricker’s, the sole and upper are traditionally stitched to welted leather insoles, so that every piece can be repaired and refurbished for many years of wear. All footwear is finished with a signature rubber sole designed for the outdoors, the company said in a press release.
