“We had a fantastic event hosting the best brands and retailers in the world helping to make connections, facilitate commerce and further educate our community through our robust educational seminars,” said Nancy Walsh, president fashion, Informa Markets.
This February marks the second event where Magic was housed under one roof allowing buyers to do business and connect effectively and efficiently. The Magic Mobile app further supported event goers with wayfinding, brand directories, event listings and much more to help attendees navigate the event and connect with brands. Magic offered over 100 seminars to help storeowners and buyers navigate the everchanging world of fashion and retail; covering topics from the latest trends, how to drive business in a digital era, how to be more sustainable and many others.
“We love shopping Magic because all of our vendors come to Las Vegas for this. There is a great selection here; accessories, footwear, and apparel are all under one roof. It’s so convenient to do all of our seasonal buying in one spot,” said specialty boutique owner, Luis Young of Isalis.
With over 50 per cent of Magic attendees being key decision makers, hundreds of millions of dollars of business was done over the 3-day event. “I wouldn’t have a business without Magic. This has been the most successful and best path for my business. I see so many different types of buyers from small boutiques to very big stores. Magic gives you access to so many different groups which I wouldn’t otherwise have access to,” said Megan Hull, owner of brand Mame.
Magic, which also attracts celebrities, influencers, media, and stylists, featured multiple celebrity appearances with Tori Spelling, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray, the Bella Twins, rapper Saweetie and a live performance by Nelly.
The next edition of Magic will run from August 17-19, 2020 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
